Recommend your reasonably priced litter

I have 2 litter boxes for 2 cats and have been using the cheap So Phresh litter from Petco. It's gotten awful lately - full of dust that flies everywhere and is also ridiculously heavy and cumbersome when I clean the litter boxes into trash bags. So it's time to switch brands.

Does anyone have a reasonably priced litter they like? I'm open to just about anything except for wheat because I'm allergic. And - what sites/ stores have you found to have the best prices for litter?

We just use Fresh Step clumping litter. I tend to order it from Chewy, but I think they have it at the grocery store. We get the "Aloha Breeze" scent. It is inexpensive, clumps pretty well so is relatively easy to scoop, and isn't overly dusty (as long as you get the clumpable one -- I got the other one by mistake once and it was quite dusty).

I really like the Ever Clean unscented. For awhile, I couldn't find it (or even order it online). But it is now back in stock. I really like the 42 lb package which has 4 separate bags.

We use the Purina Tidy Cats Breeze system and order it on Amazon subscribe and save (or a place like Chewy). It's much less messy than clay litter -- sometimes our cats track the pellets but those are easy to pick up and dispose of with a paper towel rather than having to get the vacuum out because there's dust everywhere.

We transitioned both our cats from clay litter and both have no problems with it.

I like Dr Elseys ultra litter. Its heavy but it clumps well, clumps quickly, and controls scent very well.

Sustainably your is THE BEST clumping litter I've ever used, but its a sand texture so it tracks far worse than Dr Elseys. If I could get my cat to use a top entry box, I'd 100% with sustainably yours.
