Anyone have a teen who mumbles?

Yes and they also speak very fast when they aren't facing me so I have a really hard time figuring out what they are trying to say. They can speak clearly (thank you preschool speech therapy) sometimes they just mumble. I started teasing them and calling them "Mumbles" and that seems to have helped some. |

SAME. 14 year old boy. I thought my hearing was going but I can understand everyone else…
He’s a sweet kid but he does not enunciate. Maybe I should encourage him to start doing TikToks so he has to learn to speak clearly! |

| My 10 yr old DD hangs with a girl who has a teen brother. I think the brother passed the mumble to his sister, who then passed it to my unsuspecting DD. It’s a virus! |
