HPV vaccine at 45

Anonymous
I turn 46 next month, can I still get the HPV vaccine if I go now?

I know it's a series of several shots--if I get the first one at 45 will my insurance cover the others?

I tried at 44 and my insurance wouldn’t cover it.

Mine did! My GYN suggest- said tons of ladies in 60s70s coming in with STIs (divorced, widowed, etc).

Ok --I'm just going to go and get the first shot and play dumb. I guess worst case scenario I pay out of pocket for the other 2 in a few months.

I paid OOP at 46. It was about $1000 altogether.

Is anytime through 45 so you're fine with coverage

I got it at 52, I expected to be charged $600 but my insurance covered it 100% bc the placebo had it done actually had an insurance agreement with BCBS so they wound up covering it even though they should not have.
