| We’ve had freshman play varsity and JV. Depends on both the quality of the freshman and the numbers on JV and Varsity. Hard to answer! |

Private schools are different.
Many private have 3 teams. Even Mlsnext and ecnl players are on the Freshmen team in 9th, JV 10th. It’s very very rare for 9th or 10th to be on Varsity at some schools which even have Juniors playing JV. |

A lot of ECNL/Mlsnext players quit HS at our school before Junior year. It’s too much with a busy Fall club schedule and tough academics at private. |
