Ugly in days before period?

| I know it’s hormones, but can anything be done? In the 2-3 days before my period, I look so drab. My hair is flat and just lays there. My skin somehow both dry and oily, complexion wan in a way no products help. And that on top of feeling bloated. Does anything help, or is waiting all I can do? |

| I drink a ton of water and always work out on these days even though I don’t feel like it. I don’t know if it’s just mental but I definitely feel a lot better when I work out. |

| I have tips I learned in Europe from an older Aunt, but she made me promise to keep them in the family. They do work though. Sorry! Maybe ask an older friend or relative. |

Hilarious how hard you ladies are bitterly thirsting after this withheld European knowledge! Like it even exists. Which I'm sure it doesn't...but if you actually knew...Oh Lord if you actually knew!!

| Weird thread derail! I’m interested in this question though. I always notice how haggard I look those few days. Hydrating and avoiding alcohol definitely helps but other than that I just have to wait it out. |
