This seems like a great deal. What am I missing? I'm genuinely curious why this is so low. |
| Maybe because of the tiny lot? Otherwise looks great to me. |
| It's also only 1441 sq. ft. per tax records. |
| Corner lot across from bus stop is not ideal, but still... That is a great house for the money. |
| That’s a weird price dip in the value right when it sold. Makes me wonder if the had a structural issue that has now been fixed. |
My modest house is bigger than this lot. It is very small. |
| It’ll go for way over ask. I’ll guess $1.65M. |
Because it's a corner lot, doesn't feel that small though. If it were squished between two homes, would have a different feel. |
|
1) it’s only 3 bedrooms
2) Porter Street is heavily trafficked with buses and this house is right across the street from a bus stop 3) it will go for more than the asking price |

I grew up on Porter.
If it's the house I'm thinking of, it's on the corner of 34th and Porter. Those are two loud streets. It's a fine house, but for a long time it was a group house. Don't know if it still is, but if so, it's probably not in tip top shape. |
Me again. Just looked at the map. Nope, different house. Not on Reno so slightly better than I thought. But Porter itself is loud. Porter houses sell for less than Macomb, Newark, Ordway, Lowell. The key is, how many bedrooms are in the back of the house, not facing Porter? Enough for the number of light sleepers in the house? Then noise wise it is fine. But you need bedrooms facing the back if you have light sleepers. |
|
It's 3 bedrooms, on Porter (loud and busy), and only 1800 sq ft.
Which is actually PERFECT for me, but some people want more space and don't want to be on Porter |
| It was priced for a bidding war…it’s already pending contract and likely sold for well over asking. |
| Wow, that was fast! Good for the owners and new buyers. Looks like a cute house with lots of potential. |
The lot is 2500 Sqft |
