Natural Cycle IVF at Dominion

Anonymous
I just had a failed IUI and am considering switching RE's if I am a good candidate for natural cycle IVF. For those out there who have had the natural cycle IVF, was it as easy as they say on their website? Would you recommend it? How do you feel about the Drs that perform it. Any information would be helpful to me. Thanks.

I am Dr. Gordon's patient at Dominion and currently going through the second round of natural cycle IVF (NCIVF). I highly recommend this practice because a) at least Dr. Gordon (never interacted with Dr. DiMattina) is professional, has a great bedside manner and works with your best interest in mind; b) the staff and nurses are efficient, caring and kind; c) the whole place gives you a good vibe with cheery music playing in the background, light, welcoming interior (that's important to me too after being to two other fertility clinics in the area). In terms of NCIVF, it's definitely much easier on your body compared to a regular IVF and you can do them back to back (so there's no waiting time between cycle). Of couse, it's not a guarantee that you will get pregnant (the chances are still quite low compared to a regular IVF), so be prepared emotionally for possible disappointments. However, even if I don't get pregnant through NCIVF, I still highly recommend Dominion Fertility. Again it's based on my personal experience with two other clinics.

I did NCIVF with Dominion Fertility and my first cycle was a a BFN, despite a perfect embryo, but this time around things seem to be going better, I got a + hpt this a.m. 10 dpt so I'm hopeful.

PP, congratulaions!! Wishing you a doubling beta too! Did you have any symptoms past transfer or before you took a pregnancy test? I am 6dpt and had my usual PMS symptoms yesterday and the day before, but they stopped today. Instead, I had this weird pain in the middle of my abdomen today. Plus, I am SUPER hungry (I usually don't eat much). So just a rollacoaster. I would appreciate any information from your personal experience. Thanks!
