Last night I had a dream that my oldest child died. It was terrible. Realistic. I woke up freaked out. Do other people have dreams like this?

I would probably do a dream dictionary search to interpret this until I find something that resonates.

I sometimes have dreams like this. I assume it’s a manifestation of anxiety/worry/stress and try not to overthink it (but I hug my wonderful living breathing kids extra hard the next day).

Yes. I’m still traumatized (kidding, sort of, ok not kidding) one years ago where my then-toddler was being stalked by a tiger.
