Thoughts on the name Tyson?

We really like this name, but are hesitant because of Mike Tyson. Other names we like: Spencer, Jude, Ethan, Ferris, Dalton, Colby, Barrett, Samuel, Nathan, Wesley, Gavin, Marlon, Flynn. Any other suggestions?

Honestly it reminds me of Arkansas and Tyson poultry.

Spencer--very strong Princess Diana connotations.

Barrett, Samuel, and Wesley--very strong Christian connotations

Dalton, Colby--very strong Wasp connotations

I also like Ethan--it is neutral

Don’t like Jude, Marlon, or Flynn. Barrett sounds like a last name but it’s ok. Tyson makes me think of chicken. Like the other names.

Tyson - My mind jumped to Tysons Corner, and I’m in MD. I’m not sure his generation will even know who Mike Tyson is.

Ferris - Ferris Bueller, ferris wheel

Marlon - Finding Nemo, Nemo’s dad is Marlin.

I like Ethan and Nathan, but I don’t really like the others.

Suggestion: Tobias (Toby)
