Pain in hip went away - what should I do?

Anonymous
I had a pain in my hip in the AM for 2 days, but it went away with walking. and did not return.

Would you see a doctor? (I'm inclined not to)

sorry for double message - I thought the first one didn't work

I might go to a doctor if it came back

If it is recurrent, I would get it checked out, but it is a one-off, I wouldn't worry about it.

2 days...no I would not go to a doctor especially if it stopped after being up for a bit. Maybe after a week or two. You probably slept in a different position.

sounds like sciatica

Celebrate?
If it comes back I would go to the doctor.

This sounds pretty normal. Unless you’re like 19.

Um if your pain has cleared up and it’s not bothering you why on earth would go to a doctor?

Everyday it's a mystery what's going to hurt.
Anonymous
no, but looks like you're paying attention so I would not do a doctor visit until it starts bothering you considerably longer...

Isn't it? I had shoulder pain that cleared up after a year. Likely a rotator cuff injury. Hip pain that cleared up after 6months. Wondering if it cleared up or I'm just distracted because now I have pain in the other leg. That leg pain just kind of moves around up and down the leg.

Sounds like sciatica to me. You can get some physical therapy that would help.
