| Gotta give him credit, I called him and left a message telling me "TikTok is my everything Do not my TikTok away" and he responded the same day. |
|
Every time I’ve contacted my Rep’s office (Eleanor) they’ve gotten back to me the same day.
This isn’t a thing |
It’s funny how you draw a sweeping conclusion from your own personal experience with the office of one person who isn’t even a representative but a non-voting delegate. Truth be told: Many Members of Congress are terrible at constituent services. |
|
I saw him at a campaign rally back in 2015 for Clinton in Old Town and he comes on stage and says “Hello Arlington” so that was all I needed to know. The crowd was like WTF!
|
And you close by drawing an equally sweeping conclusion of your own…. What a dumbass.
I guess my non voting Delegate cares more about me than whatever imbecile you sent to congress to represent you. Sucks for you I guess. |
Of course she does. She has far less to do or worry about. |
Your GQP Rep probably can’t even read.
|
| Politicians who are good at their jobs take constituent services extremely seriously |
| The problem is that there are some politicians who are politically safe in their districts and get lazy. As a resident of the 11th District, I say Connolly falls into this category. |
Senator Brown, among many other things, sends a congratulatory letter to every high school graduate every year across the state. Most of them can not only handle constituent inquiries, they also have great outreach programs. It’s not that hard. |
| I’m getting Veep vibes of representatives not being busy enough that they can respond to constituents calls the same day… |
| TikTok is your everything op? Are you ok? When’s the last time you got out? |
How many of those “graduates” can even read the letter? |
Wow. Thanks Gerry for letting us know. You deserve a cookie. |
|
Hey Ger-wee, how's that 7.4 federal raise coming?
Why not 50%? You'd have the same chance of anyone listening to you. |
