Baltimore Armour has a U12 MLS Next team next year?

The Baltimore Armour website shows a U12 team for next year. I thought that MLS Next starts at U13. Is this just SAC/Armour playing with the name of their U12 teams? or will there be U12s in MLS Next?

Baltimore Armour's website says they will have a "BA 12's (2013/2014)" team for next year. I don't know if it means 9v9, 11v11, MLS Next, or something else

MLS Next starts at U13. Many MLS Next clubs call their top U12 team "Pre MLS Next"

Thank you sweetheart. But their website clearly says that BA12 refers to kids born in 2013 and 2014. So BA12 = U12 in this context, not kids born in 2012.

I know that at least up to this past year MLS Next has started at U13. So that's why I started this thread, to ask if they are starting at U12 next year, or if this is just Armour/SAC calling their U12s Baltimore Armour.

Maybe they are trying to identify younger kids that are very talented that can be on the U13 squad.

Easiest is for the person who has a U12 DS and interested in joining BA to email the coach and ask. We do not need all the speculations.

Agree, NAL and 9v9. They seem to have 2 teams with a mix of 2013 and 14.
