There is not a single GOP member that is running Slovakia or any other eastern European nation. European nation being the main part if this equation. This also not the US's war. The nations of NATO were told years ago to step up their military defenses and spending and they did take that warning to heart. The US cannot continue to spend US citizen's tax dollars to defend nations that refuse to defend themselves. The GOP isn't causing anything, unprepared European nations caused this. They decided to spend their money on luxury things while leaving the front door open to its enemies. Choices have consequences. |

NATO really serves no purpose now. If countries in NATO want to cozy up to a dictator that NATO was trying to fight against, then NATO has lot any meaning.
We need to scrap NATO and start over with countries who will fight against dictators. The irony is that if Trump wins, the US would not be able to join this partnership. And to all you isolationist MAGA, the US cannot go it alone. We tried that when WWI and WWII broke out, and we got bombed anyways. There were Isolationists before those war broke out, and after we got bombed they changed their tune. |
