BCBA Recommendation

Anonymous
I am dissatisfied with the approach of our current ABA program. I haven't noticed much improvement. The therapist spends four hours a day repeating a few subjects excessively. My child seems bored and is echoing more than comprehending. Despite my child's initial progress, I believe the ABA program is causing regression due to its reliance on methods that aren't aligned with natural learning processes. If anyone has positive experiences with a competent BCBA in the DC area, I would appreciate any recommendations.

Try Capital ABA LLC, they have several folks - and the owner is super knowledgable and can let you know who he recommends and/or is available.

You're describing what ABA therapy is. Find a speech-language pathologist to work in language skills instead.
