Really Cheap Facial

Anonymous
I'm looking for someone who can do really cheap facials. I really just want the cleaning part once every few months, and don't need to sit with a mix on my face for 20 minutes with quiet music while the facialist disappears. When I lived in another state, I had a woman who would do it for $45, and it was a decent job. I can't afford the fancy treatment for over $80, and just want to keep my skin clear.

Any recommendations?

I would just buy some of the great over the counter facials. Kiehls makes a great one.
Really cheap and facial don't go well together (in this expensive city!). I'd save my pores and use a nice line such as Kiehls or Oil of Olay.

I wish I could help but I second the PP re. purchasing good products. I use the Dermalogica daily microfoliant (about 3 times a week) and find my skin stays really clear and facialists comment on how good my skin looks. Look at their line of products and maybe pick some up for yourself.

I can't remember the name off hand but there is a facial school in Vienna, VA that is supposed to do great facials very cheap. I do know that they fill up very fast so you have to book early.

I second looking for a beauty school with a good reputation. It's probably too far, but there is a school in Baltimore called Von Lee that has an great reputation. Facials are a little less than $45. They are done by students who are pretty far along in the program and supervised by instructors.

I totally need the same thing and whatever products I have used, I need a good facial about every 6 months to a year for extractions.

The beauty school in Vienna is closed, anyone have any more recent recommendations?

You can't really do the extractions at home, unless you are trained. You can scar your face if you do them wrong. The extractions are what I really get facials for. No matter what skin regimine I use, I always seem to have some pore blockage that needs extraction. Maybe it's just the way my skin is.
