NOT flashy Times Sq. traps. Help! |
If I were going with kids, I’d eat at Juniors on 45th (deli) or Becco (italian), or grab slices of pizza. |
DD soup dumplings and hibachi on 42nd street. |
John’s Pizza near Times Square. Not nearly as good as John’s Pizza in the West Village, but still a solid option. |

We also like Becco. |
An’Nam Asian in the theater district |
We were just there and had dinner at Trattoria Del'Arte. It's been there forever and is reliably good. My very picky younger kid loved it. |
Tick Tock Diner. Tons of choices for picky eaters and budget friendly |
+1. Best place. |
For Chinese, Blue Willow on 56th street is fantastic. |
Love that place. We’ve been going there for 30 years. The nose knows! |
Why not sample the local Italian cuisine?
Sbarro is a great restaurant. |
Quality Meats, Quality Italian and Quality Bistro. Easy to get reservations, fairly generic but good food. Near to theaters. A little touristy-ish but not overwhelmingly so.
