| The Little sesame Brand ( I’ve seen it at Wegman’s and Whole Foods) is wonderful-tastes almost like homemade (and I usually don’t like prepared hummus at all.) |
|
I've seen it, but haven't tired it. Which kind di you get OP? Here's their website:

| It’s so so good. I always look for it and rarely find it at Whole Foods. |
| YES. |
| My WF has this. It's the only one I will eat if my housekeep hasn't made us some. |
| Thanks for the tip! |
OMG, only on DCUM -- someone likes this hummus for when the "housekeep hasn't made ...some." |
| I like several at TJs |
|
I like it, too- Foxtrot sells it but my WF doesn’t.
I also love Perfect Pita brand hummus (and pitas!), another local company, and you can readily find it in WF and Giant. |
Love their hummus! I have gotten it at the WF in N. Bethesda.
|
I just looked up op's suggestion. It has the same ingredients as a couple of the ones from TJs, more sunflower oil than olive oil. I'll give it a try, but my favorite store bought so far is Asmar's extra garlic. No oil. https://www.asmarsfoods.com/our-products |
| And a shoutout to Kirkland brand pesto! |
|
Ha - I saw this subject line and clicked because I wanted to see if the OP was referring to Little Sesame!
I just discovered and tried it as part of last week's WF's run. The caramelized onion version was delicious and got gobbled up in our house very quickly! It's small batch made, and the containers are tiny compared to other traditional grocery store brands, but it's absolutely scrumptious. I'm already looking forward to trying their other offerings

I used to love this stuff but the last couple times I barely got any basil flavor, it was mostly just salty and oily. |
Ha! Little Sesame is our favorite followed by Perfect Pita brand, so you have excellent taste
