| Anyone following the lawsuit over the notes to "Hotel California"? Case was dismissed. Another reason to dislike the Eagles, in spite of the wonderful songs they sang? Maybe that final line of the song is more true than Henley realized. |

| That someone was selling the manuscript notes to the song, but Henley claimed they were stolen and he never gave permission. |

The eagles gave them to a writer who was supposed to write a book about them but never did. That author sold the notes to a rare book dealer in 2005. That book dealer then sold them to two other people.
IMO the fact that the eagles are going after the book dealer and not the author who is the only wrong actor if one exists is a pretty big point against them |
