MALICIOUS WOUNDING (late), 2024-03040180, 5200 block of Yorktown Boulevard. At approximately 4:16 p.m. on March 4, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. The preliminary investigation indicates that between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on February 28, the juvenile male suspect approached the juvenile male victim from behind, picked him up and hit his head against a bench. The victim sought medical treatment for injuries considered serious but non-life threatening. The investigation is ongoing.

I won't argue that there are unique challenges to each new generation of teens, but two high school boys fighting is hardly something new for ANY high school, right?

This is being over blown. The kid didn't mean to hit the other kids head on a bench. The only reason it is being reported is the "victim" (I have more on that but won't post it) is pressing charges.

This is a pretty weak defense. Just like drunk drivers don't mean to kill anyone.

It's a bad decision to pick up other people and turn them upside down such that their head might hit something and most times it wouldn't be a problem, but this time it was. Time to learn that life lesson.
