Has anybody been? Thinking of Buenos Aires combined with Patagonia/skiing. Where did you ski? Was it fun? |
I haven’t been, but everyone I speak to (people who have been plus South Americans who ski) says go to either Bariloche or Portillo.
It’s been on the list for about 20 years, but kids have gotten in the way. On the plus side, we spend a lot of time out west… (about to hit up Utah for spring break). |
We’re also headed to Utah for spring break. Thinking of doing this for milestone birthday trip while our kids are at camp! |
We've been skiing in Bariloche. It was great! We went in September and it was nice because it wasn't as crowded as I've heard it can get during the US' summer break. |
Did you stay in Bariloche or at the mountain? |
bumping this up, would love to hear more! |
Valle Nevado outside Santiago, Chile seems pretty well regarded. Had a friend who lived in Stgo for a while and she went there a few times. https://www.vallenevado.com/en/ |
We went to Valle Nevado and La Parva. It's a 3 resort area (El Colorado being the 3rd). Tons of bowls and also heli skiing options. Loved it. Also took a day to walk and toured Santiago before heading up there (fwiw).
Presumably, you have the Ikon pass? |
