| I don't have recommendations but suggest you zero in on a map area in airbnb that you're willing to travel to and set the right filters. If you want truly cheap you may be best off with a random suburban house situation that someone is trying to rent out. |

| We've done this a few times in Ft. Myers / Cape Coral. It's extremely reasonable. YES, it is super hot, but you've got your own private pool to hang out in all day, everyday. |

| You can do that in the DC area. The Omni Shoreham has a great pool - feels like a resort. You can walk to the zoo, Rock Creek Park, Adams Morgan, etc. |

This. Look in Hagerstown or something. (I realize Hagerstown is not the suburbs. But the farther OP goes from DC, the cheaper it will be.) |

| Solomons Inn resort and marina in Solomons Island, MD has a really nice, giant pool. That was our hang out spot during the pandemic when we needed a pool. And its not far from the cute parts of Solomon Island. |

We stayed here. It was within walking distance to a resort with an outdoor bar and a couple of restaurants. We didn't really make other plans besides hanging out at restaurants and the pool.
