What pools allow private coaching in the DMV?

So I know with young kids if you want to do one on one training it has always been at a hotel pool or something. I am learning most pools to not allow private instruction. Where do people go or where can you find a regulation pool to work with a kid?

DC public pools allow private swim instruction but the instructor has to be insured.

Saint James offers private instructors. Very easy to book.

If you have a coach that is not theirs, can you use their lanes?

Reston Community Center allows lane reservations for non-members for a reasonable fee. We’ve used it to make up missed club practices, but not sure what would prevent you from showing up with your own coach and using the lane for lesson purposes.
