Favorite T shirt? (V neck and tank)

Anonymous
I haven’t bought new t shirts in many years
Any recommendations for sources for your favorite white & black t shirts? V necks? Tanks?

Thank you

I don’t like v-necks but that’s a personal preference. GAP is boxy and not very flattering but good for round the house. I have one I love that is either Vince or Theory, they are so similar I forget.

I wish I liked linen because they re very flattering but I don’t like the feel of it. I like cotton Tshirts the best.

Uniqlo is pretty good and cheap. It really depends on what you like.

I have this tank in black and white and wear them all the time, year-round (layered in winter). It is very flattering/forgiving. Typically, I am a size medium/6 but I buy these in XL and it is slim fitting but not too tight to show bra strap bulge, tummy bulge etc

Buck Mason. the best.

J Crew, only on sale. Love their colorful t-shirts. Avoid Madewell t-shirts, which Iearned the hard way

I know, not super trendy, but I just bought some from Loft and they’re great. Flattering, not see through, stylish cut. I bought a bunch from JCrew last year and they all ended up with little holes in the front.

+1 I love this tank.

The lands end ones are actually still made with really nice heavy cotton, so wear and wash well.
I think this is the tank top I have:

I think I also have their v-neck tee or scoop neck tee.

I also like this j crew one that I have in a couple colors if you want a fitted one and if you don't have fat upper arms (they are very tight nad have a longer upper arm):

The kirkland t-shirts are also surprisngly well made -- I have the v-neck which I wear a lot under a blazer with jeans a lot, but it looks like now they only have scoop neck ones:
https://www.costco.com/kirkland-signature-ladies'-scoop-neck-pima-tee%2c-2-pack.product.4000149676.html

I also have the Boden scoop neck that I really like.

I can't deal with the cropped tees that are in lately, so these are all ones that have a longer length to them.

I used to like Michael Stars for tees, but not so much anymore. They used to be cut longer which is great for me because I have a longish torso.

These look okay, but my god, can they please photograph a model wearing one without a jacket and without it being tucked in? The zara-fication of clothing catalogue pictures is so annoying!

I think it really depends on your shape. I don’t wear crew necks from gap but the other necklines and I get a lot of compliment on a simple t shirt.
