| Has anyone found a formulation that does not cause that sticky/stiff feeling? The liquid is easier to apply but it makes my head itch, whereas the foam makes my hair look terrible. Unfortunately, I can't take the oral medication. |
| How often are you applying the liquid? I've found that if I wash my hair less than every 2nd day, my head will itch. I'm at the point now that I can skip applying it a day or two if I need to extend the time between washes. |
I do the same. |
| There are lots of different formulations. I use a liquid that is thick/oily enough to not drip (not very much). I use it every night and wash my hair once or twice a week. It's not sticky and reduces oil. |
What brand? |
Follixil |
| Is there a reason to not just take the oral version? Asking because I just started it |
OP here- It gave me heart palpitations, whereas the topical does not. |
How long after starting did you get palpitations? |
| You can get a lower dose or oral or split it. Also, get finasteride. |
