Do I need to be registered as Republican to vote in VA gop primary?

I am Independent and not a registered Republican. Wondering if I can participate in the voting.

You do not register for parties in Va.

You can only vote in one primary and decide when you vote.

You can vote in either. As the pp stated, in VA we don’t register under a party or as independent.

DW and I are voting in the Republican VA primary and then Dem in November.
