Please recommend where to buy upholstery fabric for a couch

Looking for any recommendations on where to buy upholstery fabric and any brands recommended? I am looking for upholstery fabric for a couch that will be in a very sunny room. Looking for a pastel beach look for the room.

Calico, formerly calico corners. There is one in Arlington.

The one in Virginia closed years ago. Now there is only one in Rockville, but it is well worth the visit.

Calico. They also have a bunch of books w/ designer fabrics. They seem to constantly have coupons so they’re prices are actually ok

I would get Sunbrella or Perennials for a pastel couch, personally. Those are brand names for “solution dyed acrylic.” It will not fade and you can clean it with basically anything including bleach.

Can I get this at most upholstery stores? I think Sunbrella is at Ethan Allen

Calico has a good selection of sunbrella and similar outdoor performance fabrics . I browsed several at the old town Alexandria store when looking for fabrics for a living room chair.
