Can someone help me find a similarly forgiving dress - but in a better quality than Coldwater Creek? |

So not exactly the same but I think close.
I love the colors and patterns but I’d pair with a regular belt or no belt vs the self tie belt https://www.broraonline.com/us/silk-pie-crust-dress-ocean-flamingo-dd2423fl2436 https://www.broraonline.com/us/cashmere-shawl-ribbed-cardigan-duck-egg-wqc513c0034 |

Horrible. OP no. |

This. I don't think this is a good dress. For any figure. It's not even doing the hanger any favors. |

What do you like about this dress? And where are you going to wear it/what formality level are you looking for? Honestly high quality brands aren’t going to be making dresses that look like this one. Thats a very “Coldwater Creek” silhouette.
Nonetheless, by filtering by midi and long, and short or 3/4 sleeves, I came up with these at Dillards which is one of my go-tos for dress shopping. Unfortunately we don’t have this store here so you’d have to head south or into the Midwest if you wanted to visit a Dillard’s store. These are varying levels of formal. https://www.dillards.com/p/komarov-lace-sleeve-midnight-vine-floral-charmeuse-midi-dress/511363270 https://www.dillards.com/p/vince-camuto-wild-zebra-print-satin-yoryu-v-neck-34-sleeve-belted-tie-waist-a-line-maxi-dress/517760238 https://www.dillards.com/p/marina-beaded-mesh-short-sleeve-v-neck-gown/517679730 https://www.dillards.com/p/nic--zoe-dreamscape-daydream-floral-print-satin-chiffon-split-v-neck-short-sleeve-tiered-a-line-maxi-dress/518021939 https://www.dillards.com/p/karyn-seo-printed-floral-and-geometric-v-neckline-short-sleeve-maxi-dress/518014358 |

Yes, it would help to know what you like about this dress other than “forgiving.” If you’re just looking for loose silhouettes, there are many options, which I’m sure a lot of posters will poo-poo. But I think it depends on the occasion and how you’re styling the dress. Here are some examples of loose or at least not tight fit midi dresses:
