Help finding book!

Ok DCUM sleuths…I need help. I am looking for a book of short stories that I read probably in the last 10 years. The first and last stories are connected. There is an amazing story in the middle where a woman who has lost her son periodically goes in to his room to listen to his music. Her son died saving someone else, and she tells the person he saved she wishes he had died instead. It was amazing.
I thought to was Ann Patchett but I’m coming up dry. I have tried searching with some of the keywords of the one story, but I’m finding nothing. Help! |
