I go to our local Safeway to get a gallon of vinegar, and they don’t have any. None empty shelf. This happens to me all the time, I go to a store for one item, and they simply do not have that one item, yet seem fully stocked otherwise. Does this happen to everybody? Also, why is there no vinegar, is there some l cleanse that’s going on? |
Go to another store. This isn't hard.
You are way overthinking this.
You are probably going in a rich area where people think vinegar is good for cleaning.
That's just how it goes sometimes, especially at Safeway. The next store over will have it.
I made a special trip to Safeway; we generally only shop at Trader Joe’s and Moms — neither which has the large vinegar. I can trek out to the nearest target in stock, but again special trip and would like to not be empty handed. This is why I’ve started ordering for pickup, just to assure inventory but I hate making people shop for me. |
Did you ask at customer service, they might have restock in the back.
I can't find the smaller bottles. I don't need a gallon. I've had the same issue with white vinegar also. Maybe we can work something out!
I have a theory that something like a gallon of white vinegar is just too inexpensive for the shelf space it occupies. For that reason, I wouldn't rely on in it being in stock at Target.
I add it to grocery delivery orders because I can never find it in stores. I think delivery orders come from a different warehouse.
They probably are shuffling it around to stock it next to the Easter egg dye kits.
