Transferring to MS

Our family is planning to move into the Hamm MS zone. We'd like to apply for a neighborhood transfer there so our rising 6th grader can start there rather than transfer later.
Is it pretty straightforward to do this? |

Some overcrowded schools receive priority for targeted neighborhood transfers, but all families can apply regardless of what your zoned school is. There are many ways parents use to ensure they get a transfer spot. So if you really want the transfer, it usually happens. But do note that the transfer spots are not unlimited. |
