What to do in Houston/Katy with mid-teens and grandparents?

| Visiting the grandparents in the Katy area of Houston 'burbs in early April. We are already planning to go to the zoo. Any other recommendations for activities that grandparents, parents, and teen boys might enjoy? Bonus points for being closer to the Katy side of things! |

| I think the Space Center might be too far of a drive from Katy. Maybe check out a show at the Houston Improv and stop at the House of Pies afterwards? |
