I’m just not convinced he was abusive. Look at her endless videos where she swears up and down about the ex-husbands new girlfriend and how she hates her and the girlfriend will never be a part of the family. I am getting a sense that she may be an incredibly hostile person, but is good at garnering sympathy. She seems edgy and antagonistic.

I’m sure the ex is no walk in the park, but we are only seeing a one sided biased perspective on this. Obviously, this evangelical trad stuff is insane. This whole “women must be subservient to men” thing is nuts, but anyway sad that millions of people seem to buy in to that. But just beyond that stuff, she seems like a handful. That’s my take! Social media is just as poisonous to adults as it is to children and teens. We tell our kids that beauty influencers and celebs who are famous for being attractive edit their pictures and even videos to look better, have a smaller waist and bigger butt, they use filters to get rid of acne and wrinkles, never mind all the plastic surgery. But we somehow can’t realize that the “parenting” influencers are basically doing the same thing by only presenting a 30 second clip or two of a 24 hour day? It’s lying by omission at best, outright lies at worst.

Anyone with a large public social media following who is also trying to make money from it is lying to you in some way. It’s probably worse to lie and pretend that your way is the best and only way and you’re so happy and fulfilled and blah blah than it is to edit your crow’s feet and skin texture, actually.
