Hair salon recommendations in Potomac/Bethesda?

Anonymous
I used to get my hair cut in DC but I’m looking for something closer to home. Any recommendations for a salon/stylist that takes the time to listen, and make individualized recommendations? Not too trendy or too geared towards old women. I have straight thick dark hair that I’m transitioning to let grey naturally. I’m mid-40s and neither want to be frumpy or like I’m trying to look like a social media influencer.

Bump.

Just one more plea for a recommendation to the wise denizens of DCUM before this post dies. Thank you!

I go to Bella Bethesda, but honestly, you need to look for the person and not the salon. I went to Bella's instagram page and looked through the stylists pages. I have been with my guy for a few years and love him!

Shop Salon, DK specifically.

One to avoid: Bluebell. Had a terrible cut/experience here.

Thank you everyone for the recommendations! I have an appointment at Salon Nader this week and I'll report back.

If possible, can you also report how much you're being charged and for what?
