Indoor pool - wetsuit top /shorts for warmth

Anonymous
Can anyone recommend a wetsuit-type top and shorts that I can use at an indoor pool?
I’ve been getting cold very easily due to a chronic illness.

Google "swimskins." A number of reputable brands make them (Roka, Blueseventy, etc.).

Lands End has great swim shorts. They look more like regular shorts than wetsuits, so you can wear them around town in the summer. They have multiple lengths.

I don't think these supply any warmth. I don't find long shirts keep you warmer in the pool at all. I think you should look for neoprene OP. Something made of wet suit material is most likely going to help more with warmth.

I was a competitive swimmer and was used to do lengths. The first couple of laps were cold then I was fine.

I decided to try deep water aerobics. The class was so slow that I was freezing. I got out early and got a refund for the rest of the classes.

I think the pool was colder because it's where the serious swimmers train. The class was also just too slow.

Maybe find a warmer pool or a more energetic class.
