Holy Child Admissions Question

Hello - we were admitted to Holy Child and it is my DD’s first choice. Was curious though- do most girls from the 8th grade continue on to high school? Trying to figure out what proportion of new students are actually new to the school.

I think about half of the freshman class continues from 8th grade to ninth. The admissions team said the returning students are excited by the new additions to the class.

Great to hear. Do you have any idea how big the freshman class usually is?

My DD joined as a freshman from another school. She had no problem integrating. Absolutely love HC and so happy she enrolled! Been a warm, joyful, school that has challenged her without being too stressful.

Same here. We agonized over HC vs. Stone Ridge because she really loved both but in the end HC just fit her better and it’s been great for her. She settled in quickly.
