I'm renovating my powder room and have found a vanity that I really like that comes with an integrated ceramic top/ sink but there is no backsplash. Should I be worried about not having backsplash in a powder room? The wall behind the vanity will just be painted drywall. It will just be used for washing hands but I want to make sure it won't become a problem down the road. |
It’s fine. Pedestal sinks are common and rarely have backsplashes. People probably aren’t going to be brushing their teeth in that sink. |
Paint the wall with a more cleanable paint so you can wipe off any stray marks.

Put some nice tiles there |
Sometimes, you can purchase the matching 3 inch backsplash and side splash separately. |
