Realistically, when can you exercise after botox? If I have a noon appointment, can I go for a run the next morning? It's less than 24 hours, but not same day.
Would working out beforehand cause any issue? |
| I just got it for the first time and could have easily worked out like an hour later. |
| It’s not about feeling that you can’t work out. They are worried about the toxin migrating to other parts of your face. |
Like to your eyes |
| I've gotten botox for like 15 years. I do a long run before my appt and then a rest day the next day so it's 48 hours of no sweating. |
| My dr says to wait one full day. So, no to your question. You do not want it to migrate. |
| 24 hours |
| I mean you are lying down by nighttime so I think it is ok to exercise the next day. If it was going to migrate it would while you sleep. I usually exercise in late afternoon or early evening so my Botox day ends up being my rest day. |
| 4 hours is on the paperwork I signed when I first started going. |

| I always work out the next day. |
I’ve been told 6 hours. |
|
No bending over the first several hours. No sweating.
Just take it easy. Wiggle your eyebrows, lift your forehead. Got to get that stuff settled in. Do not take aspirin several days before to minimize bruising. |
