Recommend an off white but patterned carpet for stair runner and hallway

We have the builder grade carpet (beige/off white??) in bedrooms and want to change just the upstairs hallway and stair runner carpet (we redid the main level and have white with black/gray specks carpet in main level. Trying to blend the stair runner and upper hallway with that, but if we go with the white and black/gray specks, it would clash with what we have in bedrooms. No plan on redoing those out of budget concerns.
I'm thinking a patterned off white carpet might blend the two areas. Suggestions? |

Take samples of both to a rug store.
