Rebecca Grossman - guilty of murder

Pretty disgusting to drag your daughter to your murder trial every day and have her testify. I’m not sure why her husband was there given she was caught cheating with Scott Erickson.

Good. She deserves the guilty verdict and long sentence.

May she now rot in hell.

I’ll bet her husband will be relieved to get rid of her.

Her daughter was screaming in the courtroom when the deputies put handcuffs on her murderer mother. I don’t doubt it’s traumatizing to see your mom sent to prison, but those two boys were run down like dogs in the street. One of the boys was carried along on the hood of her car and his body flung over 200 ft from the crosswalk. It’s truly unbelievable that two wealthy, privileged adults were drinking and racing down the street without a thought in the world for anyone else. Two absolute garbage people. All this woman can think of is saving her own miserable skin.

For me, one of the crazier aspects of this story was a side-note...it was the lover's good friend, who the couple had met at the bar (or restarurant) beforehand. The friend had made a comment that they weren't friends anymore, because (paraphrasing) "As a dad, I can't be friends with someone responsible for running kids down like that"

Then, a week or so ago, THAT dude was pulled over and got a DUI.

Who ARE these people?

It was truly negligent behavior, and she should go to prison...but not sure of the murder conviction. Manslaughter yes, but murder implies intent

If you intend to drink and drive, you intend to use your vehicle as a weapon.

Anyone who drives high or drunk is clearly displaying intent to act with danger and recklessness.

Second degree murder and it does not require intent. Charges have specific elements that must be met. There are no implications.

Who ARE these people?

Alcoholics who hang out at bars during the day?
