Fort Hunt/Sandburg/West Potomac pyramid

Can you tell me your thoughts on this pyramid? Do most people send their kids to private school? If you are in the public school in this pyramid what are your thoughts? Good? Bad? Ugly?

Why do you ask? Seems like a variation on another locked thread.

Op - sorry we love the area and want to know more about those schools.

What thread was locked?

Will all of your children be considered gifted and take advanced classes? Every one of your children, and you feel very confident about it, then I think it's fine.

The boundary one. Which area in particular are you asking about.

If in AAP in elementary and middle school it will be OK. Some good teachers so if your kid is lucky will be better than OK. Same at West Potomac. Can get a good foundation for college through APs. Again hit or miss depending on the teacher. Math and Science are not as strong as they should be at West Po.

What if you aren’t in AAP? Do you just keep applying and hope your kid gets in?

If you don’t live in Waynewood it is actually a great area to live.

Unfortunately, will probably have to walk off Rte 1 pretty soon.
