| Title says it all. Just had some perennials planted last year and the yarrow (yellow) is beginning to bloom. Isn’t it early? Is stuff blooming early around you too? |
| Yarrow should definitely not be blooming now. Are you sure it's yarrow, and not another spring blooming plant? |
| Why did you plant yarrow? It’s not native. |
Because I don’t only plant native plants |
Yarrow is native. Where are you? |
Classic DCUM... |
| Are you sure it isn't winter jasmine? We have winter jasmine and witch hazel and both are blooming (yellow) now. |
NP. I actually saw some blooming yarrow planted in a public place recently and was puzzled. |
|
Huh, my yarrow is definitely not blooming. It's barely up.
My daffodils look like they are going to pop into flower next week |
Just googled it. I don’t think it’s possible. |
| Global warming |
Interesting. It’s weird because the panicles or whatever you call them in the case of yarrow were not there when planted in September but I noticed they’d developed by December. It’s not quite blooming yet to be honest but I can tell it’s going to be yellow now which I couldn’t before. Guess I’ll call the garden place this week and ask! |
It’s almost March, I should think so. Why are daffodils so late this year? |
