| Is there some kind of GI virus going around that causes stomach upset and loose stools but no vomiting? The entire family has it and we are now at day six. |
| Six days seems long. Fever? |
| Have had this inn my family since Christmas. All tests negative. Still no idea what the cause is. |
Wait - loose stools for two months?? |
| My son has this. I don’t know what to do. He’s told me he’s has diarrhea for days. Do they make kid probiotics? |
| Oh Lord. I have had this since Monday. |
|
Have you seen a doctor? For an entire family to be sick w/GI issues for 2 months is extremely unusual.
Any changes in your home? New or existing contaminated foods that could be making you all ill? |
| I have something similar except it's not just loose it's all liquid and many times a day. But no vomiting. |
Yes - gummies. |
Yep - and they ran every test in the book and nothing was found. No bacteria or parasite, etc. |

My 11yo has the same thing and the rest of us all feel slightly off with loose stools and occasional stomach pain. She’s been out of school all week. Says she’s feeling 70-% back to normal today but I kept her home again. She did vomit twice on Wednesday.
Hoping it doesn’t hit any of us harder. |
| yep had this in January. Lasted about a week and things really didn't return fully to normal until the week after. Take probiotics. Will help get things back on track again. |
| covid lingered like this for us. |
|
Have your water tested, but our family has been like this since we caught covid in January, so...
Welcome to that "new normal" everyone said we were in. |
| We had it too. Lasted about a week for me. One kid puked and I puked. Everyone else stomach aches and diarrhea. Hung on much longer than normal stomach bug. |
