I checked my license plate on DC's traffic ticket website today just to see if I have any camera tickets pending.
Turns out I got a parking ticket last week. My car was definitely there, but I never saw the ticket anywhere. Does this matter at all in contesting it? I'm tempted to ignore it but I know it'll double at some point if I don't pay it. (FWIW I might contest it anyway -- it was for residential parking and when I look at street view, it looks like it was a block that allowed parking from both the zone in question and the next zone over, since it's near the line.) |

If it’s some kind of E-ticket it may come in the mail? Not sure how DC does it.
Given that it’s probably $40 or so is it worth your time going to court to contest if? For me it wouldn’t be. |

could have been stuck under the windshield and blew away...
if contesting a ticket that blew away and you won the contestation...everyone would be doing it. Its just part of the tax associated with living/working in DC |
