| FCV homer here. GA was good for FCV so I’ve been a fan. Always thought the GA hate coming from ECNL people was uninformed at best. Wasn’t bothered by SYC getting into GA as their young girls team (2014, ‘13, and ‘12) are as good as anyone’s in the area and better than at most ECNL clubs. Cut them a break on letting VRSC in given the history with CC/MJ at FCV and belief they can capture a bunch of former FCV players and build a solid program from there. But Coppermine is too much, and sheds a new light on GA for me. |

IMO, Coppermine is arguably (specially on this board) one of the best annoucements thus far. Always found their teams to be well coached and competitive. But I agree with you that the GA is desperately trying to make up for their recent losses and I think more are on the way. |

I see a big pipeline of young players and multiple regions. Getting GA will keep players in the club and not searching out alternatives.
If GA gave them 1 team and them DPL gives them 2-3 teams it could work out very well. |

So much hatred towards Coppermine on this board, they must be doing something well to make other teams so mad.
Every year Coppermine keep buying and building more fields and enrolling more kids into their programs. They're inevitable. |
