McAfee virus

Anonymous
Twice now I have been posting a reply. using Edge, and while typing found myself on some website trying to get me to buy McAfee and saying I've been infected.
This website is about 12 sites back when I right click on the back arrow.
From my history I see https://pclifefundamentals.co.in/mcafee-safe-browsing

This is a common symptom of a malicious ad. When the ad loads here, it goes through a number of redirects to eventually land you on a site such as you describe. Needless to say, don't download anything from the McAfee page.

These type of malicious ads are difficult to track down. But, one way to avoid this problem is to use the "post reply" button and then type your reply in the reply form. There are no ads on the reply page so you shouldn't have this issue.
