Cheap but functional gym in Arlington

I need a cheap but relatively clean and safe place to work out - just need basics, ellipticals, treadmills, some weights, etc. Any suggestions? And if so could you tell me what you pay? TIA!!

Gold's is actually still pretty cheap compared to some of the alternatives because they don't have towel service, etc. There are several in Arlington (Rosslyn, Clarendon, Ballston and South Arlington) and you can save money, I think, by signing up for just one location. I signed up years ago - access to about 20 clubs total - so my monthly fee is $37; I think I paid about $100 initiation. I'd recommend it, personally. (note: Ballston is VERY crowded on midweek evenings and Saturday/Sunday mornings.)
