The Bakery for coffee, breakfast, quick lunch.

Runa bistro for fancier dinner. B-side is a cute diner. Lemon Squeeze has live piano music (check the days). Ipho for Vietnamese. Lola’s cafe for salads and sandwiches.

(My kid went to New Paltz)

Pricey and more for the atmosphere (or hiking if you want to spend a day there) you can get dinner at Mohonk Mountain House.

My husband went to new paltz and always talks about the soup and a slab (chunk of good bread, I think) from main st bistro.

I agree with the Bistro.

I was back at the Bakery recently and think it's gone downhill -the selection wasn't great. Maybe it was just an off day.

Also I haven't been to Bacchus is a LONG time, but that was an old favorite that's still there.
