Did UMD Merit Awards Come Out?

There was a rumor UMD merit awards might come out this afternoon. My DC didn't get any email, and I'm wondering if the awards came out but they didn't receive one, or if they haven't yet come out?

Has anyone received notice of getting any of the awards (besides BK)?

At the risk of sounding stupid, did you check the application portal rather than waiting for an email?

My DC checked the portal and we didn't see anything. UMD is a great school, but in fairness, the website sucks.

I’m pretty sure that merit awards have not been released. If they had, people would’ve posted on the Facebook group and College Confidential.

Great question. My DD received her official admittance letter in the mail yesterday, but not a word about merit awards. She asked, “Does this mean I got nothing?”

I’d think she’d qualify for some amount, but maybe they are saving the $ for OOS.

Agree. Definitely not released yet. Next Friday now seems to be the most likely date.
