Exercise while starting Zepbound, etc.

How did you feel during the first couple of weeks? I routinely exercise (but unable to lose the weight, yes, this a thing for some of us). Will I be able to keep it up or should I expect to feel too fatigued/nauseous when I start?

I've been on the 2.5 mg of Zepbound for about a month now and I don't feel much different. I sometimes feel a little nauseous the day or so after I take the shot, but it goes away.

Others who've been on it longer probably have more advice, but as someone who is also pretty new to this, that's what I've felt.

I haven't had an issue with exercising. In my third month of Zepbound. I have had nausea and threw up a couple of times and I think I'm a bit more tired some days, but it has not affected my workouts.

I'm only on Metformin and was not able to excercise right away (egg retrieval) I lost 10 pounds almost immediately and it's dropping fast with excercise. Pisses me off so much how hard I battled in the gym, lost no weight and doctors refused to address my issues for 3 years.

What kind of exercise OP?

I haven't changed my exercise habits at all in the few weeks I've been on Zepbound.

I have had some side effects and discomfort but none significant enough that I couldn't exercise or go about my daily routine.

Good luck OP!

I have been on metformin for a few months for IR and have had no luck (diet and exercise still consistent and in deficit mode as tracked by my doctor and the weight loss clinic).

How long have you been on it and was IR your reason? Thanks!

I had some nausea issues with Wegovy. Sometimes while exercising in the am, before eating, I would feel a little sick and actually threw up 2-3 times. But, it wasn’t that often and seemed to subside after a few months.
