Anyone know what happened with Nadeau and her Harmonious Living Act?

This was the one where we are supposed to soundproof our houses ostensibly from the ATVs and donuting cars and use “band shells” to deflect the noise from the bands and buskers away from the buildings?

2 years on, anyone seen any soundproofing or band shells? How are the ATVs where you are?

There is nothing like not sleeping from March to November in certain DC neighborhoods. Weren’t these experiments banned on POW??

Our Council is a joke. They also, starting this year, expanded DC Medicare coverage to include IVF for the indigent.

Not at all. That's just the single word that describes the people eligible for DC's medicaid. Frankly, the dishonest people you are worried about neither know nor use words like indigent.

looks like it was Henderson not Nadeau for this one which puts DC taxpayers on the hook for 3 fertility treaments at $150,000 each plus a surrogate for the embryo. That's legitimately close to $1 million in publicly funded benefits for someone that gets public health coverage, ie: anyone with under $30,000 in income.
